We’ve invested in a nitrogen generator to drastically cut our CO2 use. This clever bit of kit pulls nitrogen straight from the air, so we can use less CO2 while keeping your pint fresh and fizzy.

Every week we brew with around 2.4 tonnes of grain. Instead of sending that to landfill, we’ve partnered with a local farmer who uses it to feed his animals. Nothing wasted, everything put to good use.

Water’s vital to brewing, so we treat it with care. We’re always looking to reduce what we use with smarter cleaning, efficient kit and simple changes like dry floor policies that save litres every day.

From LED lighting to motion sensors and timers on high-powered equipment, we’re cutting energy use wherever we can. We’re also looking into ways to recover heat and bring in more renewables.
